Micheal Thompson
Mr. Michael Thompson, CEO, received his Masters of Science in National Defense from the National Defense University, a Masters degree in Human Service from Liberty University and a Bachelor in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College. He brings a wealth of knowledge of planned operation, organization strategies, and budgeting. His responsibility is to organize and maintain the operational structure of Cattleya.
Georgia Davis
Georgia Davis is part owner and Director of Operations. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Change at Fielding Graduate University. Her anticipated graduation date is Fall/2020.
She earned her Master’s degree in Human Services from Springfield College in 2016, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Bridgeport in 2015, and an Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Naugatuck Valley Community College in 2013.
She is currently supervising a group home in Rocky Hill, CT.
Georgia is passionate about social equality and fights for the rights of marginalized groups.
Ms. Davis feels that the ability to communicate in a positive and encouraging manner at all times, can and will bring about understanding and change.
Her duties consist of but are not limited to, supervising employees to ensure that the daily happenings within the company are running well while building and maintaining a positive image of the company.
Charmaine Thompson
Charmaine Thompson is part owner and the Director of Residential Services. Ms.Thompson attended Charter Oak State College in New Britain, CT, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 2018.
She also attended Stone Academy to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and received her nursing license from the state of Connecticut in 2010. She also received an Associates degree in Social Science from Capital Community College in 1999.
She has great organizational and communication skills. Ms. Thompson has 29 years of service in her current position. She is a supervisor at I.H.S., where she provides support services to people with disabilities who live on their own.
She believes that a strong network of support is needed for individuals to be successful. Her duties consist of but are not limited to, overseeing residential services, as well as promoting and maintaining Cattleya services.
Brandon Walker
Mr. Brandon Walker is part owner and Director of Administration, He was certified by the YMCA Hartford Region in Sexual Assault Crisis Service Intervention in May of 2002 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Counseling June of 1996 by Charter University.
In 2004, he also took a marketing course at Capital Community College. Mr. Walker has worked with people with disabilities for the past 27 years, having held multiple positions such as a direct care staff, assistant supervisor, and supervisor.
He became a director of an agency and now part owner of Cattleya. Throughout his growth, he has learned the importance of helping people to help themselves. His duties consist of directly overseeing the operations of this agency to grow in the direction outlined in this business plan.
